We’ve tried out Carolina McCauley’s viral dust hack - and we have to say, we’re obsessed. Mix 500ml water, 75ml Vinegar, 1 tbsp Olive Oil, 3 Drops of Washing Up Liquid and 5 drops of a Citrus Essential Oil (we used Lemon). Spray on a microfibre cloth and use on surfaces monthly to keep your home dust free!

Add 5-10 drops of your favourite essential oil to a ball of cotton wool. Hoover up the cotton wool and then continue with the rest of the floors in your house. The air moving through the hoover will help to carry the essential oil scent throughout the rest of your house!

Another cotton wool cleaning hack! Mix 2 drops of Tea Tree and 2 drops of Lemon essential oil to a cotton wool ball and place at the bottom of your bins. Both antibacterial and anti-fungal, these essential oils will also have a deodorising effect.

Who wants to spend ages scrubbing and scouring pots and pans? Instead, soak with boiling water and add a few drops of Lemon oil to help dislodge leftover food. You can also use this trick by adding a few drops to your dishwasher soap compartment.

Warm, damp air in your bathroom can often lead to mould on the shower tiles. Avoid using harsh chemicals by mixing 4 tbsp of Baking Soda, 4 tbsp Sea Salt, 5ml Lemon Oil, 2ml Peppermint Oil and 2ml Tea Tree Oil. Apply to tiles and grout, allow it to sit for 10 minutes and then scrub away. It smells far better, too!
